Welcome to Material Girls Quilting, Etc.! We are a partnership of 6 addicted quilters who have fulfilled our dream to have our own place to "hang out" and sew together. Our store opened November 1, 2008, and we are just so thrilled with all of the support we have received. We are located in Orofino, Idaho along the Clearwater River on Hwy. 12. We love seeing people from Orofino and all the neighboring communities who come to the store, and we've been able to meet many quilters from all over the United States who stop and see us as they are traveling through.

Our inventory has grown rapidly and we are so happy to be able to offer full lines of fabrics, and lots of books, patterns, and kits. We also love punch needle embroidery, so we have many patterns, kits, and supplies for the "punch" enthusiast. Stitchery is another one of our passions and we carry many embroidery patterns and kits.

Outdoor activities are very popular in our area of Idaho, so we try to carry a good supply of fabrics, patterns, and kits dealing with wildlife. It's hard to keep the fabric in stock! We are constantly searching for the new wildlife fabrics and we order everything we can get our hands on!

One of our partners has a long-arm quilting business and she stays very busy. Her prices are so reasonable and she turns out finished quilts pretty rapidly! Learn more about her in our "long arm quilting" spot.
